Privacy regarding Email Addresses

We never share the email addresses of our users.

The email address that they provide when listing an ad or signing up is always kept confidential.

However, when any Comox Valley Classifieds user replies to any of the ads/listings or contacts a user from their profile page, the email address that he/she enters is sent to the poster of the ad/listing and by replying to that message, lister’s email is also shared with the original sender of the message.

So basically your email is not shared until you decide, by either replying to an ad/listing or by replying to the user whom you received a response from.

This is one of the reasons we recommend creating a new email id just to use on this site.
